My career spans the full arc from hands-on software development and data engineering to executive leadership. As Chief Data & AI Officer at SV Gruppe — a major German media group based in Ravensburg — I led the build-out of cloud data infrastructure, established AI governance, and managed teams of up to 20 people across data engineering, analytics, data science, and software development.

Before that, I spent five years at Handelsblatt Media Group in Düsseldorf, rising from CRM Analyst to Director of Data Technology & Business Intelligence, where I built a company-wide big data platform on Databricks and Snowflake, introduced Tableau as the enterprise reporting standard, and served on the Innovation & Technology Board.

Today, I divide my time between research, teaching, mentoring, and advisory work. I teach IT Trends & Innovation at FOM Hochschule, mentor emerging data and AI leaders, and consult with organizations building data-driven cultures.
