Exploring how organizations and people
navigate the age of intelligent machines.
Practitioner.
Researcher.
Educator.
I am a researcher, practitioner, and educator working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, organizational transformation, and society. With over fifteen years of experience leading data and AI initiatives in industry — and ongoing academic work as a lecturer at FOM Hochschule in Düsseldorf — I bring both intellectual depth and operational rigour to the questions that matter most in the age of intelligent machines.
My work is guided by a conviction that technology is always also a social phenomenon. Good leadership in the age of AI requires both technical fluency and humanistic perspective: the ability to hold complexity, ask better questions, and act with clarity under genuine uncertainty.
I mentor leaders navigating digital transformation, speak on AI ethics and organizational change, and consult with companies building data-driven cultures. I currently serve as Chief Data Officer and Group AI Officer in a major German media group.

What I work on
AI & Society
The societal dimensions of artificial intelligence: ethics, power, accountability, and governance. How intelligent systems reconfigure trust, agency, and organizational life.
Organizational Transformation
How companies become genuinely data- and AI-driven — the cultural, structural, and leadership dimensions of digital transformation, particularly in the German Mittelstand.
Microteaming
An original framework for building small, high-impact Data & AI teams. How focused, autonomous, outcome-oriented microteams outperform large data departments in organizations with finite resources.
Future of Work & Leadership
How AI reshapes professional expertise, leadership roles, and knowledge work. What it means to lead — and to think — when intelligent machines become capable colleagues.
